Biography
Evan Lisman is a non-resident fellow at the Stanford Constitutional Law Center. He studies interpretative methods, legislation, and federal courts. His article, “Property Canons,” is forthcoming in the Notre Dame Law Review. Before joining the Center, Evan clerked for the Honorable Michael H. Park of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable Dabney L. Friedrich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Evan earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal, and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
