Biography
Brianne Holland-Stergar is a Civil Justice and Innovation Fellow at the Deborah L. Rhode Center on the Legal Profession at Stanford Law School. She previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sidney R. Thomas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and to the Honorable Gregory H. Woods of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also practiced as a litigation associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell, LLP, and Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. Brianne’s interests include access to justice, increasing diversity in the legal profession, and the role of artificial intelligence in the law.
Brianne graduated from Harvard College and UCLA School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, Brianne taught seventh-grade science in Phoenix, Arizona as a part of the Teach for America Program.
