Discussion (1L): AI tools for Legal Practice (242Q): Students in this discussion seminar will be introduced to various legal tools for AI practice. We will learn how to use Harvey, Claude for Legal, and other AI tools to perform basic tasks related to legal research, writing, and analysis. Each week students will be expected to experiment with one of these tools and to generate original work product. This will be taught jointly with one or more Stanford librarians. Elements used in grading: Full attendance, reading of assigned materials, and active participation. Class meets: 4:15 PM-6:15 PM on Sept. 29, Oct. 6, Oct. 13, Oct. 20.
