Discussion (1L): Reexamining Judicial Supremacy (243B): Today, it is axiomatic that the Supreme Court has the final say on the meaning of the Constitution. But when and why did that view take hold? And is maintaining it a good thing for our civic and legal cultures? In this reading group, we will read Niko Bowie and Daphna Renan's provocative new book, Supremacy, and reconsider the history and present-day significance of the Supreme Court's role in interpreting the Constitution.
