Biography
Carson Smith (Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma) is the Stanford Conflict Resolution Fellow and has focused her research on Peacemaking and community mediation practices. In the past, she has designed university Peacemaking mechanisms and acted as a Peacemaking practitioner for multiple conflicts, especially in university and Indigenous communities. Carson has also co-designed and co-taught courses on culturally competent conflict resolution at Stanford University. She graduated with her MPhil in Socio-Legal Research from the University of Oxford and her BA in Political Science from Stanford University.
