Biography
Joanne is a paralegal to the Religious Liberty Clinic, Youth and Education Law Project (YELP), and the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic at Mills Legal Clinic. Joanne joined Stanford Law School in 2001 to help launch YELP and the Cyberlaw Clinic, and later the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic and the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. She has worked many years in direct legal services and complex litigation, as well as with community development agencies. Joanne graduated with honors and distinction from UC Berkeley with a BA in Development Studies and received her Master of Science in International Agricultural Development from UC Davis, and has a background in professional theater. She regularly performs with local community theater and opera companies.
