Biography
Zahavah is Staff Director of Draw Congress: Stanford Public Interest Redistricting Project led by Stanford Law Professor Nate Persily. This follows her recent work as Research Director for the Stanford-MIT Healthy Elections Project. Before these projects, Zahavah was a DCI Fellow at Stanford University, during which she focused on voting rights and election law. This follows her career as a digital media executive, including roles as Vice President, Partnerships at Google, General Counsel of YouTube, and several roles at early digital music services. Zahavah holds a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley School of Law, where she served as editor of the California Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif. After law school, she clerked for federal judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of CA.
