For study abroad during academic year 2026-2027, the deadline for submitting your Foreign Study Petition with the Foreign Legal Program Committee, after securing approval of your SLS faculty advisor, is February 27, 2026.

Each law school with which Stanford has a foreign study arrangement has its own application deadline. Please check with the prospective partner school or the Stanford Law School program advisors for information about those deadlines.
