This annual event celebrates our recent graduates being admitted to the California State Bar as they take the state oath and also a ceremonial federal oath for the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Inductees, their families, and supporters are invited to attend this special event. Alumni judges, Michelle T. Friedland, ’94, JD ’00, Circuit Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Alison M. Tucher, JD ’92, Justice, California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District, will preside at the ceremony and offer personal reflections on their own legal careers and the profession in general.

Graduates sworn-in elsewhere or at another time, are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception.
