Sponsored by the Stanford Rock Center for Corporate Governance, Silicon Valley Directors’ Exchange (SVDX) and the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, Stanford Law School is pleased to present the Third Annual Worksite Immigration Compliance Symposium.
This year’s Symposium’s theme is Initiatives for a Compliant & Secure Workforce. We will examine workplace immigration compliance provisions as exist now and as proposed in current Congressional bills and amendments and then compare their potential effect on employer responsibilities. Strategies and solutions to current and future employer responsibilities will be discussed in detail.
The Symposium, in the form of panel discussions and keynotes presented by government officials, private practitioners and academics, will evaluate the likely impact that competing legislative solutions will have on corporate behavior and corporate relations with various federal agencies.
