ACS is excited to host Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for a lunch conversation on judging, effective advocacy, clerking, and her path to the federal bench.

Judge Corley brings a rare range of perspectives to the bench. She has worked as a litigator, federal law clerk, magistrate judge, and district judge. Before her appointment as a district judge in 2022, she spent more than a decade as a permanent law clerk to Judge Charles Breyer and another decade as a magistrate judge in the Northern District of California.
