The Stanford Legal Design Lab will host this presentation from the Bogota, Colombia-based Legal Design Lab at Universidad de Los Andes.

Santiago Pardo, an SLS alum and constitutional lawyer, has developed this lab with partnerships with the Constitutional Court of Colombia this year. He will virtually present about how his interdisciplinary team of lawyers, designers, and technologists have worked with the court on access to justice challenges.

In particular, he will discuss the challenge of Tutelas — in which ordinary citizens can file rights claims directly to any court, and the Constitutional Court must review all claims within a short period to issue court orders to protect people’s health, education, workplace, and civil rights.
