Safford v. Redding and the Constitutionality of a Public School Strip Search
Come hear about public interest lawyering in the Supreme Court from Adam Wolf, who won last Term’s closely case followed on the constitutionality of a school strip searching a thirteen-year-old in an effort to find prohibited ibuprofen. Adam Wolf is a staff attorney for the ACLU, and has previously worked on cases involving the sentencing ratio for crack- and powder-cocaine offenses, the federal government’s issuing a subpoena for the medical records of medical-marijuana patients, and the right to possess injection drug equipment to decrease the spread of infectious disease.
This event will take place in Room 280A.
