Join us for an evening with Martina Vandenberg – founder and president of the Human Trafficking Legal Center. Ms. Vandenberg has spent two decades fighting human trafficking, forced labor, rape as a war crime, and violence against women. She previously served as a Human Rights Watch researcher in the Women’s Rights Division, and later as a litigation partner at Jenner & Block LLP.
Ms. Vandenberg will talk about her experiences starting the Human Trafficking Legal Center, and she will also share her thoughts on working in both big law and public interest.
This event is hosted by the Stanford Immigration and Human Rights Law Association (SIHRLA).
