Please join SLSJP and SIHRLA for a conversation with international human rights lawyer Philippe Sands over coffee and breakfast! Professor Sands is a world-renowned advocate and scholar, and he has represented the State of Palestine in its case before the International Court of Justice challenging the legality of the Israeli Occupation, in addition to serving as counsel for numerous governments, including the Solomon Islands, Mauritius, and the Gambia, in international tribunals. Professor Sands is a professor of law at the University of London, the Samuel Pisar Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School, and the author of several books on international law, including 38 Londres Street: On Impunity, Pinochet in England, and a Nazi in Patagonia (2025).
