Bright Award winner Anderson Jean will be honored with an award presentation followed by a panel discussion that will be moderated by Greg Dalton, host of The Commonwealth Club’s Climate One podcast. In addition to Anderson Jean, the panel includes Rodolfo Dirzo, Conservation Ecologist, Professor in Stanford’s Biology and Earth Systems Departments, and Associate Dean of Stanford’s Doerr School for Sustainability, and Ursula Parrilla, Regional Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
The panel will focus on the challenges of conservation in poverty-stricken portions of the world, in the Caribbean, and beyond.
