The Stanford Law School Chicago Alumni Chapter invites alumni and current students to attend a reception and movie screening. Jennifer Gonzalez, JD '13 and Tiffany Yang, JD '15 will present their movie “American“.

The featured film is a 12-minute documentary short that shares the stories of four DREAMers, undocumented youth who immigrated to the United States as children. It outlines their struggles to shape their identity, and it traces the legislative and legal obstacles that burden their pursuit of citizenship. By highlighting these narratives, the documentary stresses the advocacy still needed to inspire immigration reform.

Heavy appetizers will be served, and there will be a cash bar. Registration is $5.00, and guests are welcome. Kindly register by Thursday, September 26.
