When, how, and whether a person can become a citizen of a country is extremely significant, especially in the age of technology. The subject of citizenship is rich with possibility. Some people have access to citizenship of multiple countries, while others are stateless. Citizenship is treated frequently as an immigration issue, but it is far more, going to questions of allegiance, government, and civic responsibility.
Keynote Speaker:
Robert Guest, Business Editor for The Economist and author of Borderless Economics: Chinese Sea Turtles, Indian Fridges and the New Fruits of Global Capitalism, a book which recounts travels through dozens of countries and 44 American states, observing how migration makes the world brainier.
