ABOTA is an organization devoted to the preservation of the jury system. Members work to elevate the standards of integrity, honor, ethics, civility, and courtesy in the legal profession. “Civility Matters” showcases the importance of civility in the practice of law. Come hear the Honorable Peter H. Kirwan (Santa Clara County) and attorney, Dale L. Allen, Jr. (Allen, Glaessner, Hazelwood & Werth), share how the culture of discourtesy in the law manifests itself, and address strategies for achieving a more civil, and thus more enjoyable, practice of law.
