Are you driven to help people impacted by the pandemic to access legal help? Do you want to learn how to develop technology-based solutions to expand Americans’ ability to solve their justice problems? Do you want to get out of the classroom, work closely with policymakers, and build legal tools to help people?
Come join the Center on the Legal Profession and the Stanford Legal Design Lab for a gathering and happy hour to kick off our 2021-2022 year! We have multiple opportunities for students to do impactful work, including a pair of Autumn quarter policy labs targeting some of the most significant challenges to access to justice in America. Featured speakers include Chief Justice Bridget McCormack of the Michigan Supreme Court, Ronald S. Flagg, President, Legal Services Corporation, Mark Chandler, former General Counsel of Cisco Systems, Inc., our own Margaret Hagan, Director of the Legal Design Lab, and Professor David Freeman Engstrom, Co-Director of the Center on the Legal Profession.
This event is open to members of the Stanford University community only. Refreshments will be served.
