Directors' College Chile 2014
For the fourth time in Chile, the Stanford Rock Center for Corporate Governance will be co-hosting a Directors' College program in Santiago with the corporate governance center of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (CGCUC.
Directors' College Chile will bring together leading Stanford and PUC Faculty, CEOs, board members, practitioners and regulators, for a rigorous and balanced examination of corporate governance, strategy and compliance.
The program will be an intensive one-day program for directors and senior executives of Chilean public and private firms. The curriculum will address a broad range of problems that confront modern boards in Chile including Board Evaluation, Self Assessment and Compensation; Stock Pyramids, Cross-Ownership and Dual Class Equity; and Risk Management.
The program is designed to generate practical “takeaway” pointers that can be responsibly applied to a broad range of boardroom concerns.

NEW Optional Finance and Accounting Day: August 28, 2014
For the first time in Chile, the Stanford Rock Center for Corporate Governance will be co-hosting a New Optional Finance and Accounting Day to the Directors' College program in Santiago with the corporate governance center of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (CGCUC).
The New Optional Finance and Accounting Day will be an intensive one-day program for directors and senior executives of Chilean public and private firms.
This full-day session will provide an excellent, essential foundation in finance and accounting from a board-level perspective and is designed to generate practical “takeaway” pointers such as acquiring a working knowledge of the basics of finance and accounting for more informed board decision making; and understanding the theoretical and practical principles of accounting and finance as they apply to corporate governance.
