For the first time in Mexico, the Stanford Rock Center for Corporate Governance, a joint initiative of Stanford Law School and the Graduate School of Business at Stanford, will be co-hosting a Directors' College program in Mexico with Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), a leading research university in Mexico.
This program will bring together Stanford and ITAM academics, in addition to local business leaders, policy makers, practitioners and regulators for a rigorous and balanced examination of corporate governance, strategy and compliance. The program will address a broad range of issues that confront modern boards in Mexico, such as corporate governance in family-owned firms; governance responses to capital market evolution; the role of institutional investors & agency capitalism; and boardroom dynamics.
This program is directed exclusively to board members and senior executives of Mexican companies.
