Have you ever wondered what it would be like to start your own practice? Please join ACS in a lunchtime conversation with Mary Kelly Persyn. Mary Kelly will discuss what it has been like to start her own practice, Persyn Law & Policy, where she practices criminal defense and appellate law and also focuses on child trauma and police policy reform.
Before founding PLP, Mary Kelly practiced at several law firms, most recently Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in San Francisco. Her law practice focused on criminal defense and appellate matters, and she participated in cases at all levels of both state and federal courts, including twice participating in teams arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court. She graduated from Columbia Law School and clerked for the Honorable John T. Noonan, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She led her ACS chapter at Columbia and has been a member and leader since 2004.
This event is limited to 20 people, so please RSVP! Lunch will be served.
