MARK MCCONNELL, JD, MBA ’79, represents businesses and governments in international trade and investment disputes and policy matters. He is considered a leading international trade litigator in the United States, having headed legal teams in high-profile government-to-government disputes at the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the London Court of International Arbitration, in major actions before the agencies and courts of the United States, and in major disputes before Chinese government agencies. In addition to trade and investment disputes, Mark has significant experience in building public policy coalitions. He is a partner at Hogan Lovells in Washington, DC.
ASHLEY STEINBERG, JD ’11, advises clients on compliance with economic sanctions against countries such as Iran, Cuba, Syria, Burma, and Zimbabwe. In addition, her practice includes international trade matters related to WTO litigation and policy, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and customs law. She is an associate at Hogan Lovells in Washington, DC.
