Are you interested in knowing more about international arbitration? The Stanford International Arbitration Association (SIAA) is organising an in-person discussion onĀ Interim measures in institutional arbitration versus ad hoc.
The invited speakers from two arbitral institutions (Kevin Nash, the Registrar of the Singapore International Arbitration Center and Kim Taylor, the President of JAMS) and two experienced independent arbitrators (Les Schiefelbein, FCIArb, a founding member and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Silicon Valley Arbitration & Mediation Center, and Marcus Salvato Quintanilla, FCIArb, an international arbitrator and mediator with 20 years of expertise) will visit Stanford Law School to discuss different perspectives of obtaining and awarding interim measures in international arbitration. The panelists will discuss the thresholds for awarding interim measures, the difference between interim measures and relief, timing, guidelines and enforcement considerations. The event will be moderated by the SIAA’s Co-Presidents Vaishali Movva and Yuhan Yang.
