Join the Policy Lab to learn techniques to interview stakeholders and experts for your public policy research. You will learn how to conduct semi-structured interviews to communicate empathy and gain the trust of your interviewees. Professor Phil Malone, Juelsgaard IP Clinical Director, will guide you through an interactive simulation that grounds you in fundamental techniques. This workshop is part of the Elements of Policy Analysis (Law 7846) and is open to the Stanford community. Lunch will be served.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Professor Phil Malone directs Juelsgaard Intellectual Property and Innovation Clinic of the Mills Legal Clinic. He is a leading expert in IP, innovation and cyberlaw with decades of experience in both law and public policy.
