This kick-off event introduces Stanford Law students to the Center for Law and the Biosciences, its faculty, research, and events for the year. We welcome students with a background in science that want to combine their interests in law and science. And students who took their last science class in high school. Come if you’re looking for legal job in law and the biosciences! Or come if you want a legal job that’s not “bio” or “science” related! Or come if you don’t want a legal job at all!
Professor Hank Greely, the Center for Law and the Biosciences, the BioLaw and Health Policy Society, SIGNAL (The Stanford Interdisciplinary Group in Neuroscience and Law), and SIGNS (the Stanford Interdisciplinary Group on Neuroscience and Society) will be together to explain what we do and why we do it, and to discuss this exciting, interdisciplinary field.
And, of course, there will be free food.
