Law, Venture Capital, and Climate Solutions Featuring Daniel Weiss (MA ‘91, JD ‘96)
- This event has passed.
This event is open to Stanford students. Lunch will be provided.
Join us for a conversation with Daniel Weiss, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Angeleno Group, a leading climate-focused venture capital firm. A former M&A attorney at O’Melveny & Myers, Mr. Weiss now leads investments in companies transforming how we power, feed, build, and move the world.
He will discuss his journey from Big Law to launching one of the first dedicated energy transition investment firms, as well as the evolving role lawyers play in climate finance, ESG, and the low-carbon economy.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from a leader working at the forefront of climate venture capital, sustainable finance, and public service — and to learn how legal training can serve as a powerful foundation for impact-driven careers.
