Stanford Immigration & Human Rights Law Association (SIHRLA) and the Stanford Middle East & South Asian Law Students Association (MESALSA) are excited to host Baher Azmy, Legal Director of the Center for Constitutional Rights and Visiting Public Interest Practitioner.
Mr. Azmy directs litigation advancing civil and human rights, including cases involving discriminatory policing practices, government surveillance, the rights of Guantánamo detainees, and accountability for torture. Before joining CCR, he taught Constitutional Law at Seton Hall University School of Law and directed the Civil Rights and Constitutional Litigation Clinic.
Mr. Azmy will discuss CCR’s strategy and share insights from the notable cases of his career.
