MESALSA X Soha: Meet and Greet Lunch

MESALSA invites you to a get-to-know-you lunch with SLS’s new Executive Director, Community & Belonging on Wednesday, February 26th from 12:45 to 2 PM! We will be catering Iranian food from Rose Market and look forward to connecting soon : )
Soha Jafarzade is the Executive Director, Community & Belonging as part of the Office of Student Affairs (“OSA”). Soha supports law students at SLS in building a community where all feel a sense of inclusion, belonging, and the ability to learn to their fullest potential. Soha was born in Sweden to Iranian refugee parents, where he spent the first decade of his life before moving to Dubai, and then San Diego. Soha attended UC San Diego, where he was captain of the Track & Field team as a hurdler. He then attended UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) where he was an active member of the moot court team, the Hastings Association of Youth Advocates, and Homeless Legal Services. He is a huge fan of sports, games of all kinds, food, and travel!
MESALSA is an affinity group that caters to a rich diversity of cultural, religious, and ethnic identities that span well beyond the arbitrary borders of modern South Asia and the Middle East. We recognize that identity is fluid and complex, and welcome all, including but not limited to those who identify with SWANA and Central Asia.
