7:30 – 8:00am Continental Breakfast
8:00 – 9:30am Program
Room 290, Stanford Law School
This second program in our two-part series on cyber- security focuses on the technical aspects. (The first focused on the board’s legal responsibility.) How can the “bad guys” hack into the largest public companies, much less the US government? Why can’t companies or government put in place unbreachable firewalls? Worse case, why can’t breaches be immediately (1) discovered and then (2) remedied?
Our panel of experts will explain these technological issues so even “dummies” can truly understand and appreciate the challenges.
