The San Francisco Law Alumni Chapter invites you and your family to join Dr. Mei Gechlik, Director of the China Guiding Cases Project, for a Saturday morning trip to Alcatraz. The art exhibit @Large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz will be on view, and you can take the cellhouse audio tour to hear about escape attempts, daily life on “The Rock,” food riots, and surviving solitary confinement.

We will meet at Pier 33 in San Francisco at 10:30 a.m. for a prompt 11:00 a.m. departure to Alcatraz. You are welcome to take any ferry back to San Francisco. We recommend planning to spend 2 to 2.5 hours getting to and from and exploring the island. To purchase your ticket (space is limited), please register using the link below by Thursday, March 12. Tickets will be distributed at Pier 33 between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. on March 21.
