Want to exercise your comedic chops? Feel like dispelling your stress by writing clever song parodies about the reach of the Commerce Clause? Come help write the 2021 SLS Musical!
The SLS Musical is an annual tradition that combines legal wit with a healthy dose of affectionate irreverence for the institutions that bring us together, in the form of a full-length, original show written and produced by SLS students. Whether presented live onstage at a campus venue, or in serialized podcast form online, we strive to give peers and professors alike a much-needed laugh amidst the stress of the academic year.
If you’re interested in writing, feel free to attend any one of our weekly writers’ workshops, which will occur on every Wednesday of Autumn Quarter at 5:30 p.m. PT. Everyone is welcome, from 1Ls to Advanced Degree students! And even if Wednesdays won’t work for your schedule, just let us know and we’ll make sure that you’re still involved.
Please reach out to Tara Ohrtman (tohrtman@stanford.edu) for the Zoom link or with any questions.
