Interested in prisoner’s rights? Want to serve local incarcerated communities? Come learn more about Stanford Prisoner Advocacy and Resource Coalition (SPARC) in our informational meeting on Monday, September 27!

This meeting will give you a snapshot of the work SPARC plans to do this year, including, but not limited to, inviting speakers and hosting panels consisting of formerly incarcerated people, authors, and experts to discuss challenging legal topics (e.g., prison reform, prison abolition, “decarceration”, etc.), organizing in-custody book clubs and creative writing workshops in which SPARC volunteers will work directly with incarcerated individuals, and holding movie/documentary screenings to remind us of the cause for which we fight.
