Stanford GSB and Law School alumni are invited to a special presentation featuring Ken Shotts, Professor of Political Economy at the GSB. Join fellow alumni for an exciting event where we will discuss the November 2010 midterm elections.
As predicted by most analysts, in the 2010 midterm election the Democratic party lost control of the House while maintaining a slim majority in the Senate. In the post-election talk, we will discuss the following questions: Were the Democrats’ midterm losses historic or typical? What were the causes? And how will economic and regulatory policy making in the next two years differ from the first two years of the Obama administration?
Cost is $10 per person for alumni and their guests. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be provided at the reception. Register by November 29.
