Join us for a presentation with Olga Trujillo, JD, introduced by Elizabeth Magill, Richard E. Lang Professor of Law and Dean at Stanford Law School. Drawing from her personal experience and research, Ms. Trujillo, will talk about how to develop more effective relationships with clients and witnesses in cases involving domestic and sexual violence, and child abuse.
Olga Trujillo, JD, is the youngest woman and only Latina to hold the position of General Counsel to the Office of Justice Programs of the U.S. Department of Justice. She presently serves as an independent consultant dedicated to enhancing understanding of – and building effective responses to – violence against women and children.
Ms. Trujillo is also a nationally recognized trainer, speaker, and author who has devoted her career to helping advocates, first responders, and others in the field better understand the impact of trauma on survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.
Registration is free and guests are welcome. Food provided. Please register directly to Diane Osborne at dosborne@law.stanford.edu
This event is co-sponsored by the Stanford Law School Silicon Valley and San Francisco Chapters, Women of Stanford Law (WSL), and Stanford Latino Law Students Association (SLLSA).
