Leading experts from the public sector, private practice, and academia will gather at Stanford on April 29th, 2022 to address trends in patent law, particularly in relation to discretion at the PTAB. The various speakers will consider the degree to which the PTAB has exercised its discretion in granting or denying petitions for inter partes review. The trends discussed at the conference will help private sector stakeholders, policymakers, judges, litigators, scholars, and researchers better understand the changing landscape in the field of patent law and will aid the development of effective laws and policies.
