Washington DC: On the Basis of Sex Screening

The Stanford Law School Washington DC Regional Alumni Chapter is excited to invite you to a private screening of the new film On the Basis of Sex. Chronicling the early career of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the film traces Justice Ginsburg’s education at Harvard Law School and the beginnings of her decades-long fight to end sex discrimination in the law. Felicity Jones stars as Justice Ginsburg, with Armie Hammer, Sam Waterston, and Kathy Bates in supporting roles.

After the screening, please join us for a short Q&A session with two of Justice Ginsburg’s former clerks (Martine Cicconi, BA ’07, JD ’10 and Beth Neitzel, JD ’12) who will share their reflections on the film and their time in chambers.

Thanks to Stanford Law School’s generous support, tickets to the screening are only $5 for SLS alumni and $10 for others.

This event is sold out. Please email alumni.relations@law.stanford.edu to be added to the waitlist.
