Jessup Moot Court Informational Meeting
- This event is archived.
The Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court is the world's oldest and most prestigious international moot competition, involving law students from 90 countries throughout the world. Each year, Jessup mooters make oral and written arguments addressing 3-4 points of public international law in regional tournaments (usually in Denver, CO) and, if selected, at the international competition in Washington, D.C. For more information on Jessup, see: http://www.ilsa.org/jessuphome. For more information on this year's compromis, see: http://www.ilsa.org/jessuphome/2014-08-15-09-28-07/competition-materials.
All interested JD students are invited to an information session about Jessup this Tuesday, September 30 at 5 pm. We will introduce the compromis, explain mooting schedules, and discuss selection processes for this year's team.
Interested Advanced Degree Students who previously competed in Jessup are also invited to attend the meeting and find out more about being Jessup coaches for the 2014-2015 season.
