We have a program which connects 1Ls with opportunities to intern with the State Department Office of Legal Affairs.

This event is for 1Ls only. In addition to the info session, we offer some specific assistance to 1Ls in this process, so please come to learn more. You will hear from faculty who leverage their networks to place our students, and from former student interns.
The deadline for the State Department summer internship program is October 18th. For more info see: http://careers.state.gov/intern/student-internships. The portal will not open until October 8th, so it is a very short turnaround.
