Biography
Juha Vesala, LL.D. (Helsinki); LL.M. (Minnesota), from Finland, is a post-doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law, University of Helsinki, where he teaches and carries out research in the fields of antitrust and intellectual property law. His current research focuses on issues raised by the online distribution of content in antitrust, copyright, and media law. Previously, he worked on innovation aspects of applying antitrust to practices involving intellectual property rights. Juha has also worked as Senior Research Officer at the Cartels Unit of the Finnish Competition Authority as well as Lawyer Trainee at the European Patent Office. He joined the TTLF in April 2008.
