Biography
Monica is a Clinical Supervising Attorney and Lecturer in Law at the Entrepreneurship Clinic.
Prior to joining the Entrepreneurship Clinic, Monica was an Associate Perkins Coie LLP and DLA Piper LLP (US), where she worked with emerging companies through all phases of their lifecycle, from formation to exit, including venture financings and mergers and acquisitions. She also worked with venture capital funds, assisting with their formation and investments. Her experience also includes counseling non-profits and benefit corporations.
While in law school, Monica worked for the United Nations International Law Commission and the UNICEF Office of Innovation.
She holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of California, San Diego.
