Biography
Nadia Dugal is the General Counsel of Congruent Ventures, an early-stage climate venture fund backing entrepreneurs building a sustainable future. She brings fifteen years of experience at the intersection of technology, venture capital, and law. She also advises Better Tomorrow Ventures, Zulu Group, and Fluent Ventures.
Before joining Congruent, Nadia co-founded Tome, an AI company that analyzes complex legal agreements, which was acquired by AngelList. She was previously an executive at Flourish Ventures, the Omidyar Network, and 500 Startups, helping to shape global portfolios across fintech, frontier technology, and impact investing. She began her legal career at Kirkland & Ellis and Fenwick & West, advising on private equity, venture, and technology transactions.
In her spare time, Nadia serves on the Board of Directors of Lambda Legal, the nation’s largest civil rights organization dedicated to achieving full legal equality for LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV. She was named to the Gaingels 100, which recognizes leaders driving greater representation and equity in the innovation economy. She also moonlights as a runway model.
Nadia earned her J.D. from the New York University School of Law and B.A. in Philosophy from Georgetown University.
As a Non-Resident Fellow with Stanford Law School’s executive education program, Nadia contributes to content development, programming, and thought leadership aimed at strengthening lawyers’ fluency in business strategy, innovation, and venture capital.
