A woman from Hawaii is suing the Jane Hotel, saying one of its employees used a key to sneak into her room while she was sleeping and then raped her.

The 39-year-old artist — whose name is being withheld — was on a layover in New York for one night on her way to a vacation in Spain on June 3, 2018, and had spoken with the hotel restaurant worker earlier that night, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court suit.
