The Philadelphia Tribune reports on a panel at the the National Constitution Center featuring SLS Professor Michael McConnell. 

The National Constitution Center hosted a debate panel on the “Origin and Meaning of Religious Liberty” Sept. 21, focusing on the history of religious freedom in the First Amendment and then the modern day impacts on the right.

The panel was a complement to one of the Center’s current feature exhibits, “Religious Liberty and the Founding of America,” which according to National Constitution Center President Jeffrey Rosen is an impactful topic in the nation’s current climate.

The first panel featured Philip Hamburger of Columbia Law School; Marci Hamilton of the Cardozo School of Law; Douglas Laycock of the University of Virginia School of Law; and Michael McConnell of Stanford Law School.
