Prof. Michael McFaul, former Ambassador to Russia and Director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford, will be honored as the 2022 SVUDL Speaker of the Year award winner. This “fireside chat” is hosted by SVUDL Board member Mark Lemley, William H. Neukom Professor of Law at Stanford Law School and Director of the Stanford Program in Law Science and Technology. Professor Lemley explores with Ambassador McFaul his perspective on current events, next year’s debate topic on NATO and emerging technologies, and their time as high school debaters.
