Abstract

As a component of its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) under the Paris climate agreement, India has committed to ambitious renewable energy targets, of 175 GW by 2022. This includes 100 GW of solar, 60GW of wind, and 15 GW of other sources such as biomass. The 100 GW of solar target is further divided among 60 GW of utility scale solar and 40 GW of rooftop solar.
