Rochael Soper Adranly is a former Partner and Executive Director, Ventures at IDEO. She is a graduate of Duke Law School and practiced as a commercial attorney with Fulbright & Jaworski in New York and Wilson, Sonsini in Palo Alto, CA. She served as General Counsel & Chief Legal Officer at IDEO for 15 years. She has been a lecturer at UC Berkeley Law, an adjunct professor at UC Law San Francisco, a guest lecturer at Duke University School of Law and a visiting professor at Harvard Law School where she taught Law, Justice and Design. She is also co-owner of Ikaros Greek Restaurant in Oakland, CA. Rochael is an angel investor, notably with investments in Another Tomorrow and Greenwood Bank. She is an artist in her own right with works in photography, writing, documentary filmmaking and visual art (drawing, pen & ink and acrylic painting).
