Bolanle Olupona, JD ’09

Bolanle (Bola) Olupona serves as an Associate Legal Officer in the Trial Division at the International Criminal Court (ICC) where she assists the judiciary in trying cases of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. Prior to coming to the ICC in 2013, she was a Senior Associate at the law firm WilmerHale in Washington D.C., where she had a practice focused on civil and criminal investigations related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and False Claims Act.

She graduated with a J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2009. While at SLS, she served as Co-President of the Women of Stanford Law, and participated in the Youth and Education Advocacy Clinic as well as the Mills International Human Rights Clinic. In 2004, she earned a B.A. at Yale University, double majoring in Political Science and International Studies.

Bola lives in The Hague, Netherlands.
