Finpublica is a nonprofit focused on convening finance executives interested in exploring ESG issues and implementing environmental, social, and governance initiatives inside their organization and across the sector more broadly. In recent months, Finpublica has onboarded more than 100 senior leaders from banks, funds, endowments, insurers, and elsewhere; published a trove of open-source educational information and tools to help professionals get up to speed on key ESG topics in a matter of minutes; and sponsored events exploring cutting-edge ESG issues (such as digital impact assets), public-private clean energy investments (with the Department of Energy), and the impact of the war in Ukraine on ESG (with an ambassador to the European Union). Wilson Sonsini advised Finpublica on its formation, tax-exempt application, financing, employment, intellectual property, and privacy matters.
